What subsidies are there for heat pump boilers in 2025?

Anyone planning to renovate or remodel a house in Flanders can count on various grants and subsidies. One important one is the umbrella My Remodeling Premium.

The My VerbouwPremie is a subsidy from the Flemish government designed to encourage renovations and energy-saving investments in homes and other buildings. Anyone renovating an existing house, apartment, apartment complex or non-residential building (such as an office building) can apply for this financial assistance. However, the building must be at least 15 years old at the time of application. So through my RebuildingPremium, you can apply for a grant for the investing in a heat pump boiler applications.

• Any owner or investor of existing residential and non-residential buildings may receive a premium for installing a new heat pump boiler.
• For a communal heat pump boiler powering multiple apartments in an apartment building, the premium is awarded to the investor for the entire building. If an association of co-owners (VME) is established, the VME the premium.

Notice: To qualify for the premium, the total invoice amount for the heat pump boiler must be at least 1,000 euros excluding VAT.

My Renovation Premium supports investments that contribute to energy efficiency and home quality improvements. Eligible works are divided into several categories and include:

• Replacement or renovation of windows and doors
• Roofing work, such as insulation or renewal
• Improvement or insulation of exterior walls (to moisture counter, for example)
• Floor renovation and insulation
• Interior renovations for better living quality
• Renewal of electrical and plumbing
• Installations Installation of a gas condensing boiler
• Installation of a heat pump or heat pump boiler
• Installation of a solar water heater or solar panels

This premium is easily applied for online at My Renovation Counter. This can be done after the work is completed, up to two years from the date of the invoice for the work. If your invoice is older than 24 months, it is no longer possible to apply for premium.

You can apply for My Rebuilding Premium for invoices or parts of invoices for which you have not yet applied for or received a renovation or energy premium from Fluvius, for all types of works. If you have previously received a premium from Fluvius for wall works, for example, you can apply for My Rebuilding Premium for other invoices or wall works without waiting period.

To qualify for My Rebuilding Premium, of course, you must first have the necessary financial resources. However, since 2022, owners can apply for financial assistance in the form of the My Rebuilding Loan to renovate their home. This interest-free loan, up to €60,000, is intended for renovations aimed at improving the energy efficiency and quality of the home. Several conditions also apply to this loan.
