What is the price for monoblock air conditioners?
Frequently Asked Questions
Gemiddeld kost het laten draaien van een moderne airco tussen de € 0,17 en € 0,25 per uur, maar dit is natuurlijk allemaal afhankelijk van je energietarief. Moderne airco-systemen, zoals de monoblock airco, zijn energiezuinig en verbruiken gemiddeld 0,75 tot 1,0 kWh per uur op vol vermogen. Dit daalt natuurlijk weer zodra de gewenste temperatuur bereikt is. Wanneer je de airco gebruikt om te verwarmen, liggen de kosten vaak nog lager dan bij een traditionele gasketel. Door de inverter-technologie past het systeem zijn verbruik continu aan, waardoor je nooit meer energie verbruikt dan strikt noodzakelijk is voor een comfortabel binnenklimaat.
In de meeste gevallen is één enkele airco-unit bedoeld om één specifieke ruimte optimaal te koelen en/of verwarmen. Hoewel de koelte zich via open deuren naar aangrenzende kamers kan verspreiden, is dit minder efficiënt en duurt het merkbaar langer voordat het hele huis een aangename binnentemperatuur bereikt. Voor het koelen van de hele woning adviseert AeroConsult een split-unit systeem of de installatie van meerdere monoblock units. Hiermee behoud je de controle per kamer, wat niet alleen comfortabeler is, maar vooral ook energiezuiniger, omdat je enkel koelt waar het op dat moment nodig is.
De 20-minutenregel houdt in dat je een airco idealiter 20 minuten voordat je de ruimte verlaat uitschakelt of 20 minuten voordat je gaat slapen de temperatuur aanpast. Omdat de muren en meubels de koelte vasthouden, blijft de kamer nog voldoende tijd aangenaam zonder dat het airco-systeem nog energie verbruikt. Daarnaast wordt de regel ook gebruikt voor een gezond binnenklimaat. Je zet de airco uit en opent de ramen pas 20 minuten later om te ventileren. Hiermee voorkom je een te grote thermische schok en zorg je ervoor dat de luchtvochtigheid in de ruimte op een natuurlijke manier kan herstellen.
Voor een standaard airco (tot 2,5 à 3,5 kWh) is een aparte stroomgroep niet altijd noodzakelijk, maar het is wel sterk aanbevolen voor de veiligheid en stabiliteit van je netwerk. Bij krachtigere split-unit systemen of wanneer er veel zware apparaten op dezelfde groep zitten, is een eigen zekering in de meterkast zelfs verplicht om overbelasting te voorkomen.
